Alix Chagué is a PhD candidate in Digital Humanities, in cotutelle between the Université de Montréal and the Ecole Pratiques des Hautes Etudes in Paris (France), and a member of the ALMAnaCH team at the Inria Paris research center. Under the supervision of Emmanuel Château-Dutier, Laurent Romary and Michael Sinatra, her research focuses on the automatic transcription of manuscripts, particularly in Romance languages. Her research project focuses, among other things, on demonstrating the importance of sharing training data for automatic transcription systems for the advancement of science in this field. She co-founded the HTR-United open data catalog, dedicated to this goal.
